Name ▻ Fenris
Series ▻ Dragon Age II
Canon point ▻ I do have a preference for Act III (after Danarius' death), but I'll happily play him from any point.
Age: Fenris' age is unknown—most likely to himself as well. While elves do not live longer than humans, they do not seem to physically age as drastically as men do. The damages of time are less dramatic, but it's clear that Fenris has reached adulthood quite some time ago. From the canon point I'm taking him from, I'd say he's anywhere between 25-30.
Gender ▻ Male
Appearance ▻ If Fenris isn't particularly close to his kin, he shares most of their physical traits—an angular face, pointy ears, wide eyes as well as a shorter build than that of the average human. He's rather lanky and stands oddly, giving the impression that the bottom of his spine is slightly crooked upward. There is no official answer as to why his hair is white and his eyebrows black, although some speculate that it may be an aftereffect of the lyrium burnt into his flesh. The markings are what sets him apart from the others, covering his skin from his lips to his toes in branch-like patterns. Most of them are hidden underneath his armor, dark and jagged, also reinforced with lyrium. He wears gauntlets with claws curling at the tip, and walks around barefoot with an impressive sword on his back.

Abilities/Powers ▻ Fenris is a warrior. He specializes in two-handed weapons, although his fists alone are enough to make him the perfect killing machine. The lyrium marks he bears grant him the unnatural ability to phase through solid objects as well as individuals, allowing for quick yet quite bloody murder.

Unique Abilities:
- Kindred Spirits » Passive » Magic resistance +10%
- Veneer of Calm » Passive » Every wound Fenris takes stirs at his deeply buried resentment, increasing his attack damage up to 200%
- Battle Tempo » Passive » Attack speed +30% upon enemy death
- Inner reserves » Passive » Every time Fenris kills an enemy, years of harsh conditioning restore a portion of his stamina
- Lyrium Ghost » Sustained » Fenris fades into a wraithlike state and becomes difficult to track on the battlefield
- Lyrium Specter » Upgrade » Lyrium Ghost protects him more effectively
- Spirit Pulse » Active » Fenris flares dark energy, lashing foes with a blast of spiritual force
- Spirit Flux » Upgrade » The energy behind Spirit Pulse turns chaotic, stunning most enemies

History ▻ Fenris is a fugitive elf—former slave of a Tevinter Magister known as Danarius—who eventually escapes and flees to Kirkwall, seeking freedom as well as the demise of his former master. He keeps no memories of his childhood; they were wiped away as he received the strange markings on his skin, the agony of the lyrium burnt into his flesh erasing everything else. Whatever life he had before the experiment is lost. He does not remember begging to be branded—all in order to free his mother and his sister from slavery—and even though he is now persuaded of never having had a choice, the glowing patterns on his body grant him quite the ability. Fenris is a living weapon no less, able to phase through solid objects and living creatures, making him an effective killing machine. He doesn't hesitate to use that skill, especially when it comes to slavers. From the point I'm taking him from, he's finally managed to murder Danarius' apprentice, Hadriana, and learned that he had a sister.

Personality ▻ When playing Dragon Age II, the player is given two choices regarding the paths available for companions: friendship and rivalry. While both retain the main characteristics of their personality, their relationship with the protagonist influences the way they evolve throughout the story, their reactions as well as the decisions they are invited to take. I have chosen the friendship path, and while it makes for a more agreeable Fenris, he is far from being the group's party trooper.
